So Yesterday...
Anyway, like, being upset about not getting to the next level of my Fulbright, was, like, "soo... yesterday."
Actually, it wasn't (sigh), but it would be nice to think that.( If you want to hear why I'm like, so, *pissed* at the Fulbright process, you'll have to ask me to tell you in person--there is a possibility I will apply next year). Today was the day I actually put the spotlight on the pile of shit I call "my problems" and started sorting through things in my life right now.
On the brighter side of things, I started my first on-campus job as an Audio/Visual Technician at the University Center--setting up equipment and creating mini-slideshow commercials for the TVs in the common areas.
That, and I described one of the two-faced mean girls in school (yes, they really do exist in college!) as a girl with "several degrees of bitchiness":
"She's like a tropical storm--dumping her shit all over the place."
"What do you mean? She's a tropical DEPRESSION...that shit never leaves."
Oh yeah, and my medieval philosophy professor baked us brownies.
(Gotta go--I've got to go back to my locker before class starts! *Giggle*)
