Graduated & "Fully Loaded"
Shit. I just graduated.
Well, here's the long and short of it. I am officially a college graduate. (Cue "Pomp & Circumstance") Or as my friend put it, "It's fucking over."
It's a little weird. Graduation week went by so quickly. My grades (which, I projected would barely give me the overall GPA I wanted--and it did EXACTLY!) turned out just fine considering I was given the option to not take my exams in like two classes.
(By the way,if you want to know how I cum laude : summa, baby, all the way...)
I am very thankful (how rare, I know!) that my family did show up--and actually enjoyed themselves. Pearson, Tasha, and Yazid came down to celebrate my last days of freedom. Zack and Mark also stayed around to celebrate my last days of college. It was full of group/family activities and some drinking and partying, here and there. Unlike last year's drama and build-up to the very anti-climactic graduation day (which left me feeling, uh, unfulfilled in oh so many ways), this time around, it was full of positive energy, lacking any real drama or alcohol-induced sleeping outdoors.
Plus,as my new profile pictures illustrate, I was able to rock my various spring colored-outfits (light blue/light green/yellow) with my slimmer physique. Yeah Atkins!
Other than that, I am going to miss all my W&M friends, even the new friends who I have met in the last two weeks. It's going to hit me hard, eventually, but like all my transitions in the past, "my heart will go on..."

Fully Loaded
Washing the Car? I'm just looking sexy in front of my POS car!
Post-graduation, I have been relaxing during the LSA beach week in our (fully-paid beach house!) in the Outer Banks (NC). After being unceremoniously kicked-out of my dorm at the last minute, I loaded my car with the bare necessities (clothes and toiletries to last me years!) and drove down with Eric to NC from W&M.
Here are some of the amenities of the beach house:
Internet w/ computer & WIFI (that works...sometimes)
Private Hot-Tub & Swimming Pool
TV with Cable on all three floors
in a fully furnished house with everything you could need for the beach.
I haven't seen much of the beach yet--been too busy planning my trip to Eastern Europe next week (that and melting in the HOT TUB a couple times a day). After exams, graduation, and everything time and energy-consuming this semester, my does not want to do anything strenuous, especially when I will be in hyper-touring mode next week.
Thus, until I return from Eastern Europe on June 8th, I will be taking a very long and well-deserved time off from everything--even blogging.

Depart for Vienna May 23rd
Vienna then directly to Budapest May 24th
Budapest & Surrounding Areas May 24th to 28th
Bratislava 28th & 29th
Prague & Surrounding Areas 30th to June 4th
Vienna June 5th to 7th
Back in US on June 8th
Until then, I'm out.
